ABA therapy at Zern Behavioral Health is provided by highly experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Dr. Zern
Dr. Brittany Zern, Psy.D. BCBA-D
Dr. Zern is the owner of Zern Behavioral Health. She is both a licensed Clinical Psychologist and a doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida and her doctoral degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Zern specializes in the assessment and treatment of developmental and behavioral disorders among children and adolescents, including:

Clinical Psychologist
Vishruti Patel, Psy.D.
Dr. Patel is a Clinical Psychologist who earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington DC. Dr. Patel has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including community settings, hospitals, and private practices. She has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of developmental and behavioral disorders such as ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, anxiety disorders, depression, and behavior management. Dr. Patel brings extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and age groups, with a specialized focus on supporting parents, children, and adolescents.

Sarah Roof, LMHC
Sarah Horn is an LMHC in the state of Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at USF and obtained her graduate degree from Nova Southeastern University. Sarah believes in assisting individuals in finding their internal strengths and overcoming stressors in their life by utilizing Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a person centered approach. She is trained in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) for trauma and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, inpatient, mandated, and dual diagnosis.

Clinical Mental Health Intern
Sara Fonnett
Sara is a dual masters student in clinical mental health and school counseling at Adams State University. She specializes in play therapy, as well as group therapy. Sara has a specific interest in developing groups with children and adolescents to facilitate skills such as social interaction, flexible thinking skills, and executive functioning.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Nicole Balogh, MEd, BCBA
Nicole is a board certified behavior analyst. She graduated with a Master of Education from the University of Cincinnati. Nicole is passionate about helping individuals of varying ages and abilities develop a plan to tackle anxiety, impulsivity, emotional regulation, behavior management, and social skills. She has extensive experience utilizing ABA therapy to develop appropriate play skills, facilitate language and communication, and improve reciprocal interactions, focus, attention, social thinking, perspective taking, and executive functioning. She also specializes in behavior coaching for caregivers seeking strategies that encourage a positive environment.
